The ifs School of Finance Cambridge Seminar was designed to offer the challenging experience usually associated with an MBA masterclass. Each year a subject of strategic significance was selected offering the opportunity for the senior executives of the future to engage in discussion and debate with today's industry leaders.
St John's College has provided an ideal setting for a tough schedule, with rigorous intellectual demands being made of the participants by leaders in business education. Working within syndicates engenders a spirit of competition from the outset whilst also providing the framework for intensive debates in both closed and plenary sessions. Presentations, interactive simulations, syndicate and plenary discussions allow participants the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the subject, and better enable them to design and implement successful strategies.
Attention was also paid to the social programme, which was designed to offer welcome respite from the rigours of the Seminar, and the chance to network with other participants.
