The ifs School of Finance, an educational charity offering finance related qualifications to industry and the wider community, today announced the appointment of Helen Walsh to the newly created role of Media & Public Affairs Officer.
In this new post Helen will report to Phil Hall, Head of Media & Public Affairs, and will be responsible for further building the profile of the ifs in the media, with policy makers and other stakeholders.
Helen has worked for the Treasury, a number of Liberal Democrat MPs and also possesses a wealth of local government experience.
Phil Hall said "Helen is a very welcome addition to our team. As the ifs School of Finance goes from strength to strength, it's important we continue to develop relations with our wide range of stakeholders and Helen will play a key role in achieving this."
