Who award the qualifications
The ifs School of Finance is the UK's specialist awarding body for financial services and financial literacy qualifications. Our qualifications range from financial capability awards which are taught in schools and colleges to internationally recognised degree programmes awarded in partnership with the University of Manchester and University of Kent.
The ifs Awards and Curriculum has been approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The QCA is a public body that has responsibility for the development and maintenance of the national curriculum. A number of the qualifications awarded by the ifs are included within the UK National Qualifications framework.
In line with the QCA codes of practice, the ifs Awards and Curriculum is responsible, for establishing and maintaining the quality standards, for all aspects of its awards, from registration through to the issue of results/certificates.
With the exception of the degrees, which are awarded in partnership with the University of Manchester and University of Kent, all qualifications are awarded by the ifs School of Finance.
